Class 1

My first lesson in class one after many many years. And I enjoyed it soooo much. We have started the lesson by singing some songs about our working hands, sheep and shepherds, we talked what are our hands able to do, then I told them a story about a lambkin and a shepherd. The lambkin got lost and the shepherd found it.

Then we combed some wool, we "painted" with uncarded wool: sheep and clouds and some yellow stars. Our senses were busy today. and kids took some wool to the parents. One girl was so happy to paint by wool, she did everything I wanted her to do and much more. I am always happy to have curious pupils.

Crafts fair at Ribnica ...

... but sadly to see only older people working. Where are the followers? My plan to learn to spin will come true this autumn ...

Here are some pictures:

Summer course for teachers

this is a part of a puppet play for children, one of the workshops at the summer course was puppet making and the teachers did a wonderful puppet play for our kids:  The Sleeping Beauty

I ran a workshop: fingerloops and braids, here are some pictures of my colleagues at work

this is an interesting technique called the viking loop. We used hands and feet to make it. It was a lot of laughter and a lot of fun. Can you imagine kids with feet on desks?

And the leading lectures were held by my favorite waldorf teacher Christof Wiechert.
