I am trying to figure out your measurments and how you got them! I think I get it, but maybe can you explain more? I tried this last year with my students, but I must have gotten something wrong because we had problems with fitting....
First of all, you outline your foot (red colour)and you divide the length of it in three pieces (27:3=9). Then you draw a perpendicular line to the red foot at the bottom of it and you transfer 1/3 of the lenght of the foot to the right and to the left. You add 3 cm (a little more than 1 inch) to the left and to the right on both sides, on the second third of the lenghth of your foot you draw curved line - where your instep meets the slipper. And on the top of the foot - by the fingers aou add again around 3 cm and draw new curved line. This is the "shell" of the becoming slipper and protects your fingers. I hope I have hepled you, if you have more questions, feel free to ask :)
